Honours and Awards

Saturday, December 18, 2021, Calgary #1 Legion held an Honours and Awards Ceremony to thank all the volunteers who donated their time to help us out during Poppy as well as other things we require to run a day to day business. Without these volunteers the Legion would not function.

Lyle French got his 50 year medal and pin from Manager Susan MacAulay. Congratulations Lyle.

The folks from the Thursday night Dart League received an Appreciation Award for their help with Poppies.

Heather Senior received her 20 Year Pin for the Ladies Auxiliary.

Howard Johnson and his family receive an Appreciation Award for the help they gave the Branch during Poppies.

Susan MacAulay receives a Certificate of Appreciation from the Branch and a Poppy Appreciation as well. Deanna French presented it to her.

Joseph Klee has been a Member for 65 years and Dorothy Mines has been a Member for 74 years. Neither one was in attendance.
